Expanded sonic horizon with Firmware 2.0
The new Firmware 2.0 multiplies the MiniFreak's sonic possibilities. This includes a new wavetable engine, the Super Unison effect, enhanced LFO modulations and the ability to save favourites. Additional updates such as the Macro Edit mode and customisable options further increase flexibility and expressiveness.
Highlights:
- New wavetable engine: With 32 wavetables and 64 new patches, this feature expands the MiniFreak's sonic potential.
- Improved LFO modulation: This feature allows finer control of the LFO rate, either for individual steps or the entire shaper curve, enabling more complex and expressive modulations.
- Super Unison effect: By adding up to six copies of a sound, users can transform their patches into powerful textures with this chorus-like effect.
- Favourites panel for the hardware MiniFreak: Allows saving and quick access to up to 64 favourite presets. Patches can be saved and recalled using simple key combinations.
- Further improvements: Includes updates to the Macro Edit mode for better real-time pitch control, Free Run mode now also available for the Noise Engineering oscillators, as well as customisable Clock Send and Transport Send options. It is also now possible to control volume via CC7.

Arturia was founded in 1999 in Grenoble, France, and initially made its name with software emulations of legendary vintage synthesizers. In combination with specially adapted controller keyboards, Arturia created an excellent integration of software and hardware — the V Collection software suite has for years been the industry standard for virtual synthesizers.
