In this sequel the material already learned is further deepened and the playing skills as well as the theoretical knowledge in the classical and modern fields are expanded. In the third piano school new learning content appears such as the keys E-flat major, C minor and A major, the silent finger substitution, the quarter-note triplet, “swing rhythm”, the major pentatonic and other important musical elements. The keyboard illustrations help the pupil with orientation. The musical teaching pieces sound particularly beautiful and are highly motivating, so “Meine dritte Klavierschule!” is also a great experience as a songbook. It contains romantic pieces by the author that are reminiscent of film music, but also well-known “classical” works by J. S. Bach, W. A. Mozart and Tchaikovsky. Rock and blues pieces as well as easy to demanding jazz and boogie-woogie pieces also provide great musical variety and a solid foundation in the various styles. Harmony and rhythm are taught in detail to deepen the necessary knowledge of musical relationships.
Jens Rupp has been working as a piano teacher for over 30 years. With this experience he has now created a tutor that unites his previous teaching methods and positive experiences as a teacher. With “Meine erste Klavierschule!” and the sequels “Meine zweite Klavierschule!”, “Meine dritte Klavierschule!” and “Meine vierte Klavierschule!” a contemporary and didactically well thought-through series has been created that is easy to understand and logically comprehensible for pupils and teachers. Through carefully graded lessons the basics for classical and modern piano music are taught gently – thoroughly, sonically motivating and effectively.
