“My Little Piano Concerto” is intended as a playful, motivating supplement to modern piano schools and was created through individual lessons with piano students. After children and adult beginners have learned the first notes in the 5-finger range, it is often not easy to find further, sophisticated playing literature that sounds nice but is not too difficult for the advanced beginner.
This book contains 21 classical and modern-sounding performance pieces in a popular style, some of which are reminiscent of film music, but also of works by classical composers. The compositions offer a lot of sound experience with an easy to medium level of technical level, with the pitch range being carefully built up and constantly expanded over the course of the book. The themes are arranged with middle sections and developments in such a way that the piano pieces are slightly longer and already have a concert character . The classical elements are integrated into the pieces in a modern way and everyone has the opportunity to discover the pieces for themselves and interpret them in a personal way depending on their ability and taste.
