Steve Baker is one of the hottest harp players in Europe and is considered one of the leading exponents of this instrument worldwide. His unique style is an exciting Fusion of traditional blues elements and innovative melodic ideas, characterized by a masterful handling of dynamics and sound formation. Steve has written numerous harmonica instructional works that have been highly praised by the specialist press, and he can also be heard as a studio musician on hundreds of records, film and TV productions. He regularly gives harp workshops and, in addition to the Harmonica Masters workshops that have been successfully taking place in Trossingen since 2003, he also launched the European Blues & Roots Masterclass (2009). He has been working closely as a consultant with the leading harmonica manufacturer Hohner for over 20 years.
