SOKA is an acronym from the early days of the "new session", shortly after the restructuring. It means "session Orchester Karte" and was our bonus programme that at the time was specifically aimed at orchestras. Over time we have continually developed and improved our offering. The circle of those we wanted to support with our programme has also been steadily expanded. More recently, among other reasons of sustainability, we replaced the card with a completely digital system. So today it would actually have to be SOSVAP: "session Orchester, Schulen, Vereine und Akademien Programm". That felt a bit too unwieldy for us. Thats why we keep the snappy, much-loved name and cherish it as a nostalgic little gem :)
