Fender 75th Anniversary Collection
The one that started it all.
75 years ago a new era began: with the Fender Telecaster the foundation for the modern electric guitar was laid. Hardly any instrument has shaped the sound and aesthetics of popular music so enduringly. Whether country, blues, rock or punk – the Telecaster became a versatile icon that broke genre boundaries and inspired generations of musicians.
The anniversary models are already in stock with us – and of course our guitar guru Olli has already taken a close look at the series. What 75 years of Fender Telecaster means, you'll find out in our video further down the page.

For the 75th anniversary Fender honours these two milestones of music history with an exclusive 75th Anniversary Collection. In 2026 limited-edition Telecaster and Precision Bass models will be released, made especially for this occasion.
The foundation for all others!
The Telecaster is regarded as one of the most influential instruments of all time. It defined how an electric guitar should look, feel and sound – clear, direct, uncompromising. Its timeless design and tonal versatility make it to this day the first choice for stage and studio.
Pickups
When it comes to pickups the 75th Anniversary Collection shows the Telecaster's wide tonal range. Models like the Player II Telecaster use specially developed Thunderbolt Single-Coils that deliver the classic Tele sound with clear highs, pronounced twang and modern presence. The American Professional Custom Telecaster is fitted with V-Mod II Single-Coils, offering a balanced, versatile tone with more dynamics and detail. For an authentic vintage sound the Road Worn 1951 Telecaster features Pure Vintage ’51 Single-Coils that are closely modelled on the early originals. The American Professional Classic Cabronita takes its own path with TV Jones® TV Classic Pickups, producing an open, slightly Gretsch-inspired tone. In the American Ultra II Telecaster a powerful Fastlane Humbucker at the bridge meets an Ultra Noiseless Tele Pickup at the neck – a modern combination that pairs classic Tele character with more output and hum-free operation.
Bridge
A defining element of the Telecaster sound is the bridge construction, which also varies within the 75th Anniversary Collection. Vintage-inspired models like the Road Worn 1951 Telecaster or the American Professional Classic Cabronita rely on classic 3-saddle string-through-body bridges, delivering the typical Tele twang, lots of attack and a direct response. Modern variants like the Player II Telecaster or the American Ultra II Telecaster, on the other hand, use 6-saddle bridges that allow more precise intonation adjustment. The American Professional Custom Telecaster combines both approaches with a 3-saddle bridge and compensated brass saddles, marrying classic Tele character with improved intonation.
Body & Neck
The 75th Anniversary Collection also demonstrates different approaches when it comes to bodies, tops and neck profiles – from vintage-orientated to modern. Most models use classic alder bodies, known for the balanced Telecaster core sound with clear highs and defined response. The Road Worn 1951 Telecaster, by contrast, uses ash, a wood prized for the early Tele sound with snappy attack and transparent dynamics. A visually and tonally upscale option is the American Professional Custom Telecaster with a flame-maple top on an alder body. Necks range from the chunky 1951 "U" profile of the vintage-inspired models through comfortable modern or Deep-C profiles to the contemporary Modern-D neck of the American Ultra II Telecaster, which also features a compound fretboard radius for especially flexible playability. Different fretboard materials such as maple, rosewood or ebony complete each instrument's character.
“The Fender bass
was the technological breakthrough that changed music forever.”
Quincy Jones
As revolutionary as the Fender Telecaster is the Fender Precision Bass. As the world's first electric bass it represented a technological breakthrough that permanently changed music. For the first time, bassists had a portable, fretted and amplified instrument playable with precise intonation.
With its punchy, clearly defined low end, the Precision Bass became the supporting pillar of countless productions – from soul and Motown through rock to modern genres.

Olli meets Leo's legacy:
We show what the 75th Anniversary Collection is really about
If anyone can talk about the Telecaster, it's Olli. Our guitar expert feels like he's been playing the model since Leo Fender bolted the very first prototype together.
So of course he grabbed the 75th Anniversary models and put them in front of the camera. How the guitars sound and what Mr. Custom-Shop thinks about the anniversary series, you'll find out in the video.
